Surf Lessons – Learn How to Ride the Waves
At Tamarindo Surf Camp, we provide top-notch surf instruction to help you ride the waves with confidence. Whether you’re taking your first lesson or perfecting your technique, our experienced instructors are here to guide you every step of the way.
- Group Classes – Enjoy the camaraderie of other surf enthusiasts while learning together during your daily lessons at Tamarindo Surf Camp!
- Kids Classes – Surf lessons are fun and safe for the little surfers in your life.
- Private Lessons (Optional)– Opt to get personalized coaching and fast-track your progress by adding lessons to your package for extra time in the water, one on one!
We include equipment for Tamarindo Surf Camp lessons including:
- beginner surfboard
- surfboard leash
- UV protection rashguard
A variety of surfboard rentals are also available for intermediate surfers looking for a different type of board and for beginner surfers to practice outside of surf camp lessons. This way, you can easily grab the gear you need to hit the waves!

We have the best accommodations in tow, and it’s obvious our Tamarindo Surf Camp was designed for surfers! Surf camp in Tamarindo offers a variety of waves just steps from the beachfront resort and conveniently located in the center of everything you’ll need!
The best breakfast buffet we’ve ever seen is included with your surf camp in Tamarindo and offers delicious, fresh meals to fuel your days mixed with adventure and relaxation!
