Tamarindo-only: Fly in and out of Liberia Airport (LIR)

Santa Teresa-only: Fly in and out of San Jose's Juan Santamaria Airport (SJO)

Tamarindo & Santa Teresa: Fly in to Liberia Airport (LIR) and out of San Jose's Juan Santamaria Airport (SJO)**

**If you prefer round trip flights to one or the other, we can arrange alternate transportation for an additional cost

Cancellation & refund policy are as follows:

• Cancellations received before April 1, 2024: All but 10% of the Total Package Cost is refundable.  This is in order to cover the administrative needs related to registration, planning, & processing.* 
• Cancellations received between April 1 - April 30, 2024: 50% of the Total Package Cost is refundable*
• Cancellations received after April 30, 2024 Total Package Cost is non refundable.*

*If paying by Payment Plan option: missing payments / not following the payment schedule will result in forfeiture of prior payments AND of your reservation (see Payment Plan Policy for details)

Total Package Cost = Total amount owed to Costa Rica Surf Trip for the package chosen upon registration.  

Registrants choosing a payment plan option should note: refundable amounts are based on calculations off of the total for the package (NOT the amount paid to date).

Cancellations must be requested in writing to CRsurftrip@gmail.com by 11:59 EST the day before the cutoff date above to be processed per these guidelines.

In the unexpected case that the trip must be rescheduled for alternate dates for reasons out of our control:

If you CAN make the rescheduled dates:

Your payments will be transferred to those dates and any difference in price will either be charged to you (in the case of an increase in price) or returned to you (in the case of a decrease in price).

If you can NOT make the rescheduled dates:

Your payments will be refunded in full.

When opting for a payment plan at checkout (where permitted):

Please be aware that as soon as you book, it creates work and sets in motion our team who will ensure your ideal experience without glitches for the smoothest possible vacation for you!  The same way that you must make payments on time, WE must make payments on time.  For this reason, when opting for a payment plan with us during your checkout, and after completing your reservation, it is imperative that you:

• Review your email for your confirmation and be sure to add us to your trusted senders list to receive future notifications; notify us immediately at CRsurftrip@gmail.com or info@costaricasurftrip.com if you did not receive it (occasionally our guests have been known to input their own email addresses incorrectly on checkout or our emails are directed to your spam folder).  "I did not see the notice" is not a valid excuse for late / missed payments.
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly payment dates will be based on the day of your initial registration (unless discussed with us or notified otherwise)
• It is solely the responsibility of the client to be aware of the required payment dates and to complete those payments on time.  Payments that have not been made within 14 days after a required payment date will be automatically cancelled without additional notice and the totality of the payments made to date will be non-refundable.
• Should you know that you need special permission to exceed this 14 day grace period, contact us PRIOR TO THE INITIAL PAYMENT DATE for alternate payment arrangements to avoid losing your reservation and past payments. Requests for payment arrangements or extensions received later than this date will not be honored as they do not allow us sufficient time to make alternate arrangements with providers.
